Yes - PatchDesign.ai is a 100% free tool for end-users to generate and download custom patch designs. No subscription, no per-image credits, and no registration required for basic design generation. Previews and free downloads carry a light PatchDesign.AI mark; the file you get when you order is clean. Design as much as you like in the AI tool - iterations there have no lifetime cap and are free. Fair use is 15 designs a day as a guest and 50 a day signed in, resetting at midnight Pacific, 250 a month, and 5 more edits of a design you already made after the daily cap. Once you place an order, our artists redraw your design by hand into production-ready artwork; that work is included at no charge, along with two rounds of revisions on it. Switching to a completely different design at that point means starting the artwork over, which is a $30 charge - so it is worth nailing down your concept in the AI tool first, where it costs nothing.

No. You can start designing immediately - no registration, no email signup, and no credit card required. Accounts are optional and only needed if you want to save designs across devices or place a physical patch order.

There is no catch. Unlimited free AI designs, no credits system, no paywall for core features. Free downloads carry a light PatchDesign.AI mark and the file you get when you order is clean. PatchDesign.ai is funded by two things: (1) optional physical patch manufacturing - if you choose to turn your design into real patches, we manufacture and ship them; (2) B2B licensing - patch manufacturers pay us to embed the AI designer on their own sites, and Revenue Share Partners host it for a cut of the orders it brings in. End-user designers never pay for the design tool.

Two revenue streams, both optional from the end-user's perspective. First, users who love their design can order physical patches through us - that's a voluntary purchase, and it funds the free tool. Second, we license the AI designer to patch manufacturers ($49-$399/mo plans) and pay Revenue Share Partners that embed our designer either 10% of every order or a flat $5 per qualified lead. No ads, no data resale, no upsell inside the designer itself.

PatchDesign.ai is $0 with free AI generations (15 a day as a guest, 50 a day signed in, 250 a month, no lifetime cap) and is purpose-built for patches (embroidery, PVC, woven, chenille). Canva Pro costs about $120/year and Adobe Creative Cloud costs about $23/month (about $276/year) - both are general-purpose design tools that require manual work, do not understand patch manufacturing constraints, and do not include expert human review. Typical patch design time on PatchDesign.ai is around 30 seconds vs. 30 to 60 minutes on Canva or 1 to 3 hours in Adobe.

Yes the actual patch will look same or very similar to your design. Any differences will likely be due to production feasibility of certain detail, or if there is imagery that is impossible to replicate with embroidery or PVC material and therefore may look a little bit different.

Yes. If you mail us the patch, we can duplicate it exactly. We can mail the patch back to you after production is complete per your request. Email us at [email protected]

Yes. All final artwork is emailed to you before going to production, unless you request otherwise.

Once you submit your design, our team will reach out to you via email to place the order and advise on next steps. These are the factors influencing pricing: size, material, number of colors, and quantity.

You do not have to choose the exact colors yourself. Our artists will match the colors in your design as closely as possible to our thread colors (we do not always guarantee an exact match). If you have particular Pantone or exact colors that must be in your design, you can view our thread colors here. Pantone color selections must be in Coated or Uncoated.

AI Patch Designer is a tool that helps create unique patch designs using artificial intelligence. It allows users to input their design ideas, and the AI generates a variety of patch designs to choose from.

Users provide a description or concept for their desired patch, and the AI interprets this input to create a range of design options. The AI utilizes advanced algorithms to ensure each design is both creative and relevant to the user's request.

Yes, AI Patch Designer typically offers customization options, allowing users to tweak colors, shapes, and other elements to perfect their design.

Yes, Enjoy full access to the features of PatchDesign.ai for 30 days without any charges.

The 30-Day Free Trial is available to new business customers who have not previously subscribed to a paid plan. Individual users can use the design tool for free without a trial period.

Any business whose customers regularly buy patches: martial arts retailers and dojo e-stores, promotional product shops that want a patches line without the operational lift, merch stores, craft stores, corporate gifting sites, and sports suppliers. You host the designer and earn on what it brings in; PatchDesign.AI does the artwork, manufacturing, shipping, and support. If your customers buy patches, this program is built for you.

Three steps: (1) Paste one script tag on your site (about 10 minutes, any platform - WordPress, Shopify, Wix, Squarespace, BigCommerce, or plain HTML). (2) Your visitors describe a patch, the AI generates it, and they submit a quote request. (3) PatchDesign.AI's team handles artwork review, manufacturing, shipping, and customer service. You earn $5 for every qualified lead - no fulfillment work on your end.

It depends entirely on your traffic and placement. Rough benchmarks from comparable affiliate programs: a single-storefront site typically sees ~50 leads/month ($250/mo), a regional retailer or multi-location brand ~200 leads/mo ($1,000/mo), and a national retailer or large marketplace ~1,000 leads/mo ($5,000/mo). There are no tiers or caps - $5 flat on lead #1 and lead #10,000.

A qualified lead meets all four criteria: (1) verified email (double opt-in, no disposable addresses), (2) not a bot (passes CAPTCHA plus behavioral check plus manual review), (3) not a duplicate of an existing customer in the past 90 days, and (4) attributable to your embed via your unique tenant key. Your partner dashboard shows every lead with its status (pending / qualified / rejected) and the reason for any rejection - full audit trail, no black boxes.

Monthly, on the 1st, for all leads qualified during the prior month. Choose ACH (US), paper check, or PayPal. Payouts require a valid W-9 on file, a 30-day lead clearance window, and a $50 minimum balance (smaller balances roll into the next month). Full terms are in our Partner Program Terms.

Yes. At approval we set your logo as the AI avatar, your primary and accent colors skin the UI, and we can tune the tone of Parker (our AI) to match your brand. The embed inherits the look of your site - visitors feel like it's your tool, not a third-party widget.

PatchDesign.AI does - end to end. Expert artwork review, proof approval, production (embroidered, PVC, woven, chenille), shipping worldwide, and all customer service is on us. You never touch an order. Your job is just to host the embed and share the link with your customers.

None. The embed is free, there's no monthly SaaS fee, and there's no minimum traffic threshold. We pay on quality, not on your size - 10% of every order or a flat $5 per qualified lead, your pick. If you bring one lead this year, we pay on it.

On the lead-fee model you're still paid - the flat $5 per qualified lead is paid regardless of whether the downstream sale closes, so your only job is driving traffic to the designer. (On the revenue-share model - 10% of every order - payouts follow paid orders instead; you can switch between the two models any time.)

Yes, and we encourage it. Co-marketing assets (graphics, copy blocks, QR codes that link to your embed) are available on request. All leads driven to your embed via any channel you own - website, email, SMS, print, QR - count toward your payout.

We take lead fraud seriously. Self-generated leads, incentivized submissions, bot traffic, embedding on unapproved domains, and misrepresenting your audience all forfeit pending payouts, trigger clawback of prior payouts, and result in immediate key revocation. Full policy is in Section 7 of the Partner Terms. Clean partners never have an issue - the policy exists to protect the program and your margin.

Yes. No contracts, no exclusivity, no exit fees. Remove the embed, stop using the link, and any already-qualified leads still pay out on the next cycle. You can also run other affiliate programs alongside ours.

Visit /ai/partners and click "Instant embed link." Signup takes about 60 seconds (no credit card, no contract). Most approvals happen same day, and you'll have a working embed snippet tuned to your brand within hours.

Any business that sells custom patches: screen-print shops adding patches as an upsell, patch-only specialists (Patches4Less, Signature), promotional distributors (4imprint, CustomInk, Vistaprint), apparel decorators, embroidery shops, international brokers, and wholesale fulfillment suppliers. If you want a modern design-and-quote front-end on your site without building one yourself, this is for you.

They land on your product or quote-request page, describe their patch in plain English (or upload a sketch or logo), and the AI generates a production-ready concept in seconds. They can iterate freely, pick size, material, backing, and quantity, then submit the quote. The entire experience is branded with your logo, your colors, and your voice - visitors never feel like they left your site.

Leads go directly to the email address you configure at setup - a shared sales inbox, a CRM forwarder, or straight into Zapier. We never touch the sale. Your pricing, your close, your margin, your customer. PatchDesign.AI is pure software; we're not a broker and we don't compete with you on fulfillment.

Typically under 10 minutes. Paste one script tag on your site - no iframes, no ongoing engineering maintenance. The installation guide covers WordPress, Shopify, BigCommerce, Wix, Squarespace, and raw HTML/React. Most manufacturers are taking live leads the same day they sign up.

Free: 20 AI designs/month, full branding, email lead delivery - $0/mo, no credit card, no time limit. Starter ($49/mo): 200 designs/month. Pro ($149/mo, recommended): 1,000 designs/month, the designer in Spanish and German, onboarding and staff training. Scale ($399/mo): 1,500 designs/month, a currency picker for your visitors, brand guidelines (your house style and your customers' brands), and an API and webhooks for your own systems. Every paid plan includes a 30-day free trial. Every image the AI makes counts as one design, edits included.

Yes. Your logo appears as the AI avatar, your primary and accent colors skin the entire UI, and the embed lives on your domain. The only PatchDesign.AI reference is a small "Powered by" footer - and it's removable on the Scale plan for a fully unbranded experience.

Yes. Every paid plan comes with a 30-day free trial, no credit card required. Or stay on the Free tier indefinitely at 20 designs/month - no trial timer, no surprise downgrade.

Building it internally typically costs around $50,000 and 4 months: one senior engineer at about $12k/month for four months, plus AI image model fees, prompt-engineering iteration, design QA and safety filtering, image hosting and CDN, and permanent roadmap debt. Licensing is $0-$399/month and live this week. You redirect every engineering dollar back to your core product and never worry about model upgrades, latency, or uptime.

The designer accepts image uploads (PNG, JPG, PDF, SVG, AI, EPS) and incorporates them into the generated patch. This is how team patches, company logos, and refinement rounds typically work - customers upload what they have, and the AI adapts it to embroidery, PVC, woven, or chenille.

Your customer owns the design they generate. You own the lead, the order, the customer relationship, and all data collected through your embed. PatchDesign.AI only processes the generation and routes the lead to you - we do not resell lead data, market to your customers, or retain any commercial rights to the artwork generated on your site.

The AI generates concept artwork that's production-ready for most orders (bold, graphic patch designs in particular). Your team - or ours, as an optional add-on on Pro/Scale - cleans up edge cases for production. Customers receive a final proof before the first stitch, so any adjustments happen before cost is committed.

No. Monthly billing, cancel anytime, no exit fees. The Free tier has no time limit. Paid plans can be upgraded, downgraded, or cancelled from your dashboard in a single click. Custom volume and enterprise agreements (unlimited designs, SSO, integrations built for you) are available - contact us for a quote.

No minimum. Order a single sample, or a run at our price breaks - the per-patch price drops as the quantity goes up. One patch is a sample: $30 if we photograph it for you, $60 if we mail it, and $30 comes back as credit on a later run. Price breaks start at 10 pieces for embroidered and PVC (PVC needs a mould cut before a single patch exists, which is why a one-off PVC patch costs more), 25 for printed and woven, and 5 for chenille; need a quantity in between? Just ask - our team emails a quick quote.

Standard production and shipping is about 10 business days from when you approve your artwork, assuming you approve the first sample - that covers production and shipping, all the way to your door. There is no separate rush tier, and shipping is free.

Absolutely. We email you a production-ready proof showing exactly how your patch will look before a single stitch is made. Production begins only after you give written approval.

Yes. A sample-only order of a single patch is $60, and that price includes artwork, production, and shipping - no separate setup or shipping charge. A slightly larger prototype run (as few as 1-10 patches) lets you verify sizing, colors, and detail before ordering in larger quantities. Many customers find this saves money compared to re-running a corrected full order.

Yes. We keep your artwork on file. Reorders use the current price on the table. The price shown is your price, the same rate we charge, not a starting figure. No quote is needed unless you choose a backing or border with no set price. Then we confirm that price within 2 business hours.

Use the AI tool to design your patch, then order at the price on screen. The price shown is your price, the same rate we charge, not a starting figure. No quote is needed unless you choose a backing or border with no set price. Then we confirm that price within 2 business hours.

Yes. If you need several different designs - for example, patches for five different teams - you can submit them together. Each design is priced on its own, and we can manage all of them in a single order workflow.

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover), PayPal, and bank transfer for larger orders. Payment is collected before production begins. NET payment terms are available for approved corporate and government accounts.

Changes and cancellations are accepted before production begins. Cancel before we have started your artwork and you get a full refund. Cancel after artwork has started - digitizing your design and preparing your proof - but before production begins, and we refund your payment less a $30 artwork fee covering the work already completed. Once production has started, changes may not be possible and the order is non-refundable. Contact us as soon as possible if you need to modify your order.

The four main factors are: patch type (embroidered vs. PVC), size (measured at the longest dimension), quantity ordered, and number of thread colors. Backing type and special shapes (die-cut) can also affect price.

Yes, significantly. Per-patch price drops as quantity increases because setup and handling costs are spread across more pieces. Moving from 10 to 100 patches can cut the per-piece cost by 50-60%. The breaks land at 25, 50, 75, 100, 150, 200, 300, 500 and 1000+, and an order between two breaks is charged at the break below it. Use our pricing calculator to see the tiers.

No. Design is always free and there are no setup fees. You pay only for production and shipping. That includes AI design iterations within the fair-use rate (15 a day as a guest, 50 signed in, 250 a month, and 5 more edits of a design you already made after the daily cap), our expert human review, the production-ready artwork itself, and two rounds of revisions on it. The one exception: if you switch to a completely different design after we have drawn the artwork, that is new artwork and costs $30.

AI design revisions through Parker have no lifetime cap and are free - 15 designs a day as a guest, 50 a day signed in, 250 a month, and 5 more edits of a design you already made after the daily cap. Iterate as much as you want before you order, within that rate. After you order, your design is redrawn by hand into production-ready artwork, and two rounds of revisions on that artwork are included at no charge (text corrections, color tweaks, sizing, layout adjustments). Changing to a completely different design means the artwork is drawn from scratch, which is $30.

PVC patches include a one-time mold fee (typically $50-80) for the first order. After that, reorders only pay the per-piece cost. At sufficient quantities, PVC can be competitive with or cheaper than embroidered patches on a per-piece basis.

Yes. We offer discounted pricing for registered nonprofit organizations, scout troops, schools, and youth programs. Contact us with your organization's details and we'll apply the appropriate discount to your quote.

Yes. Orders of 500+ pieces receive volume pricing, and orders of 1,000+ pieces qualify for our best per-piece rates. For very large volume orders (5,000+), contact us for a custom quote.

Shipping is free on every order - within the U.S. and internationally. There is no separate shipping charge at the quote stage or at checkout; the price you are quoted is delivered to your door.

We produce embroidered patches, PVC/rubber patches, woven patches, chenille patches, and iron-on patches. Embroidered and PVC are our most popular types and are supported by our AI design tool.

Embroidered patches use colored thread stitched onto fabric for a classic, textured look. PVC patches are molded silicone rubber with vivid color fills and excellent weather resistance. Embroidered suits uniforms and traditional applications; PVC is preferred for tactical, outdoor, and morale patch use.

Woven patches are made on a specialized loom that weaves colored threads directly into the design - no raised embroidery. The result is a flatter, finer patch that can reproduce small text and intricate detail better than standard embroidery. They're popular for name tapes, labels, and fine-detail insignia. The one limit to plan around is color: a woven patch can carry a maximum of 7 colors, because the loom holds a fixed set of colored threads. That is a physical ceiling, not a price tier - there is no extra-color upgrade. Designs with more than 7 colors go to embroidered, or to printed if they need gradients.

Chenille patches use a fuzzy, raised pile thread that creates a soft, tactile texture. They're the classic material for varsity letter jackets and athletic patches, providing a bold, dimensional look. Chenille works best for simple designs with large, solid color areas.

Available backings include: sew-on (plain, no adhesive), iron-on (heat-activated adhesive), Velcro hook (you supply loop panels for garments), peel-and-stick adhesive, and magnetic. Sew-on is the most durable for uniform patches; Velcro is best for swappable tactical or gear applications.

The most common border is a merrowed edge - a colored thread border that wraps the perimeter of the patch, giving it a finished look. Hot-cut borders follow a custom shape without the raised merrow edge. Die-cut borders follow an irregular shape cut to your design outline.

Yes. Die-cut patches follow a custom outline instead of a standard shape. A first-order die fee applies for the cutting shape, but reorders use the same die at no additional charge. Die-cut patches look more distinctive and premium than standard borders.

Both embroidered and PVC patches are highly durable. Embroidered patches sewn onto garments will outlast the garment itself under normal use. PVC patches are waterproof, UV-resistant, and resistant to cracking or fading. Both are designed for long-term, everyday wear.

Yes. We use colorfast embroidery threads from leading brands (Madeira, Robison-Anton) that are designed to resist fading through repeated washing and UV exposure. Colors may shift slightly over years of heavy use and sun exposure, as with any textile, but colorfastness is excellent under normal conditions.

We match thread colors to Pantone references where possible. At the proof stage, we'll provide the specific thread color codes being used and their Pantone equivalents. For brand-critical programs, ordering a pre-production sample is the best way to confirm color accuracy before the full run.

No. You can describe your idea in plain English to Parker our AI, and it will generate a design for you. If you have existing artwork, you can upload it and we'll use it - but uploading a file is entirely optional.

We accept PNG, JPG, PDF, AI (Adobe Illustrator), EPS, and SVG. Vector formats (AI, EPS, SVG) are preferred because they scale without quality loss. High-resolution raster files (300 DPI or higher) also work well. We'll flag any file quality issues during the expert review.

It depends on the patch type. Embroidered patches include up to 20 thread colors, with no per-color charge - most suppliers include around 10 and charge for each extra. Woven is the one type with a hard ceiling: 7 colors maximum - the loom carries a fixed set of colored threads, so an 8th cannot be woven at any price. PVC takes up to 12 colors, and chenille 3 color layers, with extra layers available. Printed/sublimated is unlimited and is the only type that reproduces gradients. Most designs look best with 5-10 well-chosen colors regardless of type; bold, graphic color blocks produce the best results in thread and rubber alike.

Patches are available from 1 inch to 12 inches (measured at the longest dimension). The most popular range is 2-4 inches, which works for most sleeve, cap, and badge applications. Very small patches (under 2 inches) require simpler designs due to thread detail limits.

In the AI design tool there is no lifetime cap - 15 designs a day as a guest, 50 a day signed in, 250 a month, and 5 more edits of a design you already made after the daily cap. Generate and refine within that rate, free. Once you order, your design goes to our artists to be redrawn by hand for embroidery, and that artwork includes two rounds of revisions (text corrections, color tweaks, sizing, layout adjustments). Two rounds covers what almost every order needs. Because each round is real hands-on artist time, that is where the limit comes from - and if you decide on a completely different design, the artwork starts over as new artwork, which is $30.

Yes. Upload a photo to Parker and describe how you'd like it adapted for embroidery. Parker will interpret the image and generate a patch-optimized version. Our expert team may simplify complex photographic detail to ensure clean production results.

Yes. Share your logo file or image with Parker and describe your patch goals. Parker will generate an embroidery-optimized interpretation. If you have a vector version of your logo, uploading that produces the cleanest results.

A human patch specialist reviews your AI-generated design for production feasibility - checking that thread colors are achievable, fine lines are printable at your chosen size, and text is legible. They may suggest minor adjustments. The review is free and typically completes within 2 business hours.

Yes. You see the AI-generated design instantly in the tool. After submission, we provide a production proof showing exactly how the patch will be made. You approve this proof before any production begins.

Yes. Describe the text you want and any font style preferences to Parker (e.g., 'bold block letters', 'military stencil', 'script font'). Our team can also match a specific font if you provide the font name at the proof stage.

Yes. We ship worldwide, and shipping is free everywhere - it is already inside the price you are quoted, with nothing added at checkout. Patches ship in about 10 business days when you approve the first sample: roughly 3 business days for the pre-production sample and 5 for production, plus dispatch. Transit time on top depends on your destination, and can run longer to remote ones. Import duties and taxes are the recipient's responsibility and are collected by local customs authorities.

Yes. Our factory is in China and closes for Chinese public holidays, the longest being Chinese New Year (late January or February) and the National Day holiday (Oct 1-7). Closure days don't count as working days, so an order that overlaps one ships later by the number of working days it loses. Your order page shows the adjusted dates, with a note naming the holiday that moved them, and your payment confirmation email says the same.

We ship via USPS, UPS, and FedEx depending on order size and destination. Tracking is provided for all orders, and shipping is free.

You'll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information as soon as your order leaves production. You can track your package directly through the carrier's website using the tracking number provided.

Address changes are possible before the order ships. Contact us as soon as possible if you need to update your shipping address. Once the order has shipped, we cannot reroute it and you would need to coordinate with the carrier directly.

Contact us immediately with photos of the issue. We stand behind our production quality and will either remake any defective patches or provide a refund, depending on the situation. We handle all legitimate quality issues at no cost to you.

Shipping is free on every order, so there is nothing extra to discount - the price you are quoted already includes delivery. For very large or freight-sized orders, we coordinate the logistics at no added shipping cost to you.
