Yes the actual patch will look same or very similar to your design. Any differences will likely be due to production feasibility of certain detail, or if there is imagery that is impossible to replicate with embroidery or PVC material and therefore may look a little bit different.

Changes and cancellations are accepted before production begins. Cancel before we have started your artwork and you get a full refund. Cancel after artwork has started - digitizing your design and preparing your proof - but before production begins, and we refund your payment less a $30 artwork fee covering the work already completed. The one limit to plan around is color: a woven patch can carry a maximum of 7 colors, because the loom holds a fixed set of colored threads. That is a physical ceiling, not a price tier - there is no extra-color upgrade. Designs with more than 7 colors go to embroidered, or to printed if they need gradients.

Chenille patches use a fuzzy, raised pile thread that creates a soft, tactile texture. They're the classic material for varsity letter jackets and athletic patches, providing a bold, dimensional look. Chenille works best for simple designs with large, solid color areas.

Available backings include: sew-on (plain, no adhesive), iron-on (heat-activated adhesive), Velcro hook (you supply loop panels for garments), peel-and-stick adhesive, and magnetic. Sew-on is the most durable for uniform patches; Velcro is best for swappable tactical or gear applications.

The most common border is a merrowed edge - a colored thread border that wraps the perimeter of the patch, giving it a finished look. Hot-cut borders follow a custom shape without the raised merrow edge. Die-cut borders follow an irregular shape cut to your design outline.

Both embroidered and PVC patches are highly durable. Embroidered patches sewn onto garments will outlast the garment itself under normal use. PVC patches are waterproof, UV-resistant, and resistant to cracking or fading. Both are designed for long-term, everyday wear.

Yes. We use colorfast embroidery threads from leading brands (Madeira, Robison-Anton) that are designed to resist fading through repeated washing and UV exposure. Colors may shift slightly over years of heavy use and sun exposure, as with any textile, but colorfastness is excellent under normal conditions.

We match thread colors to Pantone references where possible. At the proof stage, we'll provide the specific thread color codes being used and their Pantone equivalents. For brand-critical programs, ordering a pre-production sample is the best way to confirm color accuracy before the full run.

No. You can describe your idea in plain English to Parker our AI, and it will generate a design for you. If you have existing artwork, you can upload it and we'll use it - but uploading a file is entirely optional.

We accept PNG, JPG, PDF, AI (Adobe Illustrator), EPS, and SVG. Vector formats (AI, EPS, SVG) are preferred because they scale without quality loss. High-resolution raster files (300 DPI or higher) also work well. We'll flag any file quality issues during the expert review.

It depends on the patch type. Embroidered patches include up to 10 thread colors, and each color beyond that is +$0.15 per color. Woven is the one type with a hard ceiling: 7 colors maximum, and unlike every other type there is no paid upgrade past it - the loom carries a fixed set of colored threads, so an 8th cannot be woven at any price. PVC 2D includes 3 colors and chenille 3 color layers, both with paid extras. Printed/sublimated is unlimited and is the only type that reproduces gradients. Most designs look best with 5–10 well-chosen colors regardless of type; bold, graphic color blocks produce the best results in thread and rubber alike.

Patches are available from 1 inch to 12 inches (measured at the longest dimension). The most popular range is 2–4 inches, which works for most sleeve, cap, and badge applications. Very small patches (under 2 inches) require simpler designs due to thread detail limits.

Transit time on top depends on your destination, and can run longer to remote ones. Import duties and taxes are the recipient's responsibility and are collected by local customs authorities.

We ship via USPS, UPS, and FedEx depending on order size and destination. Tracking is provided for all orders, and shipping is free.

You'll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information as soon as your order leaves production. You can track your package directly through the carrier's website using the tracking number provided.

Address changes are possible before the order ships. Contact us as soon as possible if you need to update your shipping address. Once the order has shipped, we cannot reroute it and you would need to coordinate with the carrier directly.
