Care & Maintenance

Chenille patches should never be submerged in water or machine washed, as immersion causes the fluffy chenille yarn to mat, felt, and lose its characteristic loft permanently. Spot clean with a lightly damp cloth and gentle dabbing motion if the patch surface becomes soiled, and allow to air dry completely before the garment is worn or stored. Varsity jackets with chenille patches should be dry cleaned to preserve both the wool body of the jacket and the chenille pile simultaneously.
