What file formats do you accept for custom patch designs?
We accept PNG, JPG, PDF, AI, EPS, and SVG files - or you can skip uploading entirely and let Parker design from scratch.
If you already have artwork, we accept all common design file formats: PNG, JPG, JPEG, PDF, AI (Adobe Illustrator), EPS, and SVG. Vector formats (AI, EPS, SVG) are preferred for embroidery because they scale without quality loss, but high-resolution raster files (300 DPI or higher at print size) work well too.
You can upload your existing file directly in the AI tool chat and ask Parker to use it as the basis for the patch. Parker can also help adapt an existing design for embroidery - simplifying gradients, cleaning up fine lines, and making color suggestions that work well in thread form.
One of the most common things we hear from new customers is "I have an idea but I don't have a file." That's exactly what Parker is built for. Low-resolution images (under 150 DPI) can sometimes be upscaled and cleaned up by our team, though this depends on the complexity of the design. Blurry logos, pixelated text, or heavily compressed JPEGs are the most common problem files - our expert review step will flag these and suggest options.
If you're handing off a logo for a patch, the ideal scenario is a vector file (AI or EPS with outlined fonts) at the correct patch dimensions. If you don't have that, don't worry - our design team handles file preparation as part of the expert review process at no extra charge.
