Oz grew up around the factory floor and went on to spend his own career in the custom-patch and emblem world — including time at World Emblem and Hero's Pride, two of the most established names in emblems and public-safety gear. He's a YMCA dad in California, so he has seen patches from both sides: as a parent trying to order them, and as someone who makes them. Either way, the same headaches kept turning up — slow back-and-forth on the artwork, long lead times, high minimums, and cost that piles up at every step.
His world isn't only patches. Oz has led an innovation lab, helped start-ups bring new technology to market, and shipped big, complicated projects inside large companies.
