How patches are used at IACP

• Booth giveaway patches with an original design for your company, made to be traded and collected.
• Challenge-coin style PVC patches for VIP meetings and demo appointments.
• Department patches for agencies that want to order trade patches before they travel to the conference.
• Velcro morale patches for booth staff, so your team is easy to spot in the hall.

We design original artwork. Agency shoulder patches and badges belong to the agency, so we need its approval to reproduce one.

About the IACP Annual Conference

The International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) was founded in 1893 as the National Chiefs of Police Union, when police chiefs met in Chicago to share information on wanted fugitives and professional standards. It took its present name in 1902 and today has members in well over 100 countries, from small-town chiefs to the heads of national police agencies.

Its annual conference, IACP 2026, is the largest gathering of law enforcement leaders in the world. It runs October 24-27 in Orlando, Florida, with education sessions, general assemblies and an exhibit hall where hundreds of companies show equipment, vehicles, software and uniform products to agency decision-makers.

For exhibitors the exhibit hall is a few days of very concentrated traffic. Chiefs, command staff and procurement officers walk the aisles with limited time, and the booths that are remembered are the ones that hand over something useful. Patches are a long-standing currency in police culture: officers trade and collect them, and many departments keep patch walls or boards. A well-made giveaway patch is one of the few booth items that is kept and displayed rather than thrown away after the show.
